Obama Won the Election, Put on a Good Show, but How Much Can He Really Take?
While some Americans are celebrating, others are mourning and putting on sackcloth and ashes. Either way, we will all be waiting to see what kind of change, if any, will take place once Obama takes office.
But outside our comfortable little bubble in the US, devious nations are already eyeing this new president-to-be. That will put even more on Obama’s already full plate of issues to deal with. There will be a crippled economy to mend, troops halfway across the world to think about…
Oh yeah, and a world of fanatical terrorists who may very well seize this opportunity to do some damage. We’re such rebellious and corrupting infidels here in the West.
What was that Democrat VP pick Joe Biden said? Something about guaranteeing an international crisis within six months after Obama becomes president?
While I found that statement rather suspicious, that someone could guarantee such an event, it’s kind of an obvious one. Egypt is poised to lash out against Israel. Earlier in the summer Israel was doing combat training and mock aerial strikes. Iran has been belligerent, openly admitting that they’re continuing with their nuclear plans. I think the question isn’t when will Iran have nuclear weapons, it’s they’ll use them.
In relation to all this, I hope Obama picks his advisors wisely. As the saying goes “Bad company corrupts good morals.” Okay, so it doesn’t exactly go with what I’m trying to say, but you get my point.
So, how much, or how well, will our newest president handle impending crisis both at home and abroad? Like many Americans, I hope and pray Obama lets God guide him in making the best decisions for this country.
Only time will tell if “we the people” chose wisely.
